Party FFA
Party FFA lets groups of friends or competitive teams duel together in private, isolated arenas without interference from random players.
INFO
Party FFA is built right into AdvancedFFA. You can use /party or its convenient shorthand /p.
How It Works
- Create a party: A player creates a party using
/party create. - Invite friends: The leader invites friends with
/party <player>or opens the party with/party public. - Queue as a squad: When the party leader joins a kit (
/ffa join <kit>), AdvancedFFA automatically finds an empty arena linked to that kit and reserves it exclusively for your party. - Isolated Arena: Normal players cannot enter your reserved arena.
- Auto-Teleport: Any player joining the party mid-game is automatically teleported into the ongoing match with the kit equipped.
- Clean Exit: When the leader leaves the arena (
/ffa leave), disbands the party, or disconnects, all party members are safely teleported back to the lobby with their survival inventories restored.
Party Commands
| Command | Role | Description |
|---|---|---|
/party create | Leader | Creates a new party (requires advancedffa.party.create) |
/party <player> | Leader | Invites a player to your party |
/party public | Leader | Makes party open so anyone can join with /party join <leader> |
/party private | Leader | Sets the party back to invite-only |
/party transfer <player> | Leader | Transfers party leadership to a member |
/party disband confirm | Leader | Disbands the party and clears any active arena reservations |
/party join <player> | Member | Joins an open party or accepts an invitation |
/party list | All | Lists active party members: Party(count): Leader (Leader), Member1, Member2 |
/party chat | Member | Toggles party-only chat mode |
/party leave | Member | Leaves the party (teleports player back to lobby if in an arena) |
Party Chat
When party chat is enabled via /party chat, all messages sent by that player are only visible to their party members. Run /party chat again to switch back to public chat.
Matchmaking Rules
- Leader Control: Only the party leader can queue the group into an arena. Members trying to run
/ffa join <kit>are informed that only their leader can start a match. - Empty Arena Requirement: When queuing, the plugin searches for an empty arena linked to the kit. If all arenas for that kit currently have active fights, the leader is notified that no empty arena is available.
- Non-Party Member Lockout: Regular players queueing normally will never be placed into an arena that has an active party reservation.
- Disconnect Protection: If a party leader disconnects, the party is disbanded and members are returned safely to the lobby. If a member disconnects, they are removed from the party without disrupting the rest of the players.
